....and.... we are still sick. Progress has been made in that we have rid ourselves of the bacterial infection, but the cold lingers and at times, it seems, intensifies. Robert had another doctor appointment yesterday and is having some wheezing, so we are now doing breathing treatments (which he HATES). William is probably the healthiest of us (other than Francis), but still coughs on occasion. He also busted his forehead open on our coffee table on Tuesday which the doctor has shut with tape. The table has completely round edges and he was less than an inch from the surface when he stood up into it. Still not sure what happened....Oh and then I got a call from the health department that the infection we had has reached epidemic status in Travis county where we live. They wanted to make sure we didn't come infect anyone else. We didn't as far as I know, but the thought that we could get it again (the nurse said it's everywhere) is not one I like to entertain. Fun times.
We have seen both my in-laws and parents this week. My in-law came up on Saturday to bring us our camera that was mailed to them from Canada (we left it in the rental car). They were super kind to bring it to us! My parents came up for the governor's inauguration on Monday. The boys and I had lunch with them. Apart from these outings, we've been to Little Gym and Bible Study the past couple of days. Everything else we've done since the New year had involved a Dr. or pharmacy. We were getting a little stir crazy.
On a happy note, Robert is growing like crazy. He actually played trains WITH William yesterday instead of ripping up the track or being "babyzilla" for the villagers. He step gently over the track and ran the train around making noises and laughing. He is understanding so much, and he has been promoted to the big table. He sits in a booster seat and eats with us now. He is so proud! He is coming up with new words each day. Today's word was "poo poo" while I was changing his dirty diaper. He exclaimed it with glee and giggled. He's all boy. Robert's starting to ask for what he wants and tries to be silly to get us to laugh. He engages William in games and will even play tag a little. The boys favorite thing to do together is use their play kitchen. they cook me all sorts of silly food and then delight as I pretend to eat it. They are so sweet. Robert just looks older too. He can run, almost jump and even come close to doing a somersault independently. He's so much more a toddler than a baby now. My big boy!

That's really all for now. I'm still in recovery mode, so I need a nap!
