We have been really busy the past couple of weeks. Since New Years, Erin came to visit for two weeks. Ashley, Brandon, my mother and Danielle have all come in to see both Erin and me. The baby has been dragged all over the greater part of Austin in search of shops and general amusement. I have been working on my prenatal Yoga and figuring out what I can and cannot do on the Kinect which Francis got for Christmas. Things have been busy and despite the fact I am tired ALL THE TIME, I have been trying to push through.
Yesterday, mom and I went to see the inauguration of Gov. Perry. It was so cold, but the BBQ afterwords was totally worth it. Mom came with me to my doctor's appointment today, and so the doctor did a sonogram so we could see what was going on in babyland. Baby Phillips is more than 6 times bigger than the last time I saw him or her. He or she is now 11 weeks. I could see the head, legs, arms, heartbeat (a healthy 159), and umbilical cord. The cord was moving around in reaction to the heartbeat. It was so cool!!! Over all, things seem to be looking great, which is such a relief. Can't wait to see what I find out next month!
